You can find us at Shop No. 2 in the Sunrise Apartment building. We’re right next to the Canara Bank on Nehru Road, near the Vakola Bridge in Santacruz East. It’s a lively spot with a lot of people passing by on their way to work. We work with aluminium, which usually means there’s a lot of cutting and measuring going on throughout the day. We handle windows, frames, and sections for all sorts of buildings. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack the long metal rods. It gets a bit noisy when the saws are running, but that's part of the job. Most of our customers are from the neighborhood, people looking to fix up their flats or contractors needing specific sizes. We spend a lot of time with a measuring tape in hand. Aluminium is good to work with because it’s light, but it still takes a lot of care to get the joints right. We’ve been in this spot for some time now, watching the traffic go over the bridge. It’s just a small team of us here. We keep our heads down and focus on getting the frames finished. No fancy talk, just a lot of metalwork and trying to stay on top of the orders that come through the door each morning. It is a bit cramped sometimes but we make it work for us.
