Sant International

We are situated at No-80/82 in Ratan Mills on Dhanji Street. This is right in the heart of Zaveri Bazar. If you know the area, you know it is famous for the jewelry trade and gold shops. Sant International is just one of many small businesses squeezed into these very narrow streets. Ratan Mills is an old building and it has a lot of character, even if the elevators are sometimes a bit moody or slow. We spend our days dealing with the fine details of the work we do. The street outside is always full of people rushing around with bags or talking loudly on their phones. It is a very high-energy place to be every single day. Inside our unit, it is a bit quieter but we are always busy with something. We have workbenches where the actual work happens and a small safe for the important stuff. Zaveri Bazar is a place where a lot of business happens over a simple conversation and a cup of chai. We have been on Dhanji Street for a long time now and we have seen the market change quite a bit over the decades. But the core of what we do stays exactly the same. We spend a lot of time looking at the small pieces we handle. It is not a glamorous life despite being in the jewelry quarter. It is hard work and long hours, often staring at things under a lamp. We just try to do right by people.
