Sanskar Steel Centre

We spend most of our time here at 146 Kumbharwada, right on the Rajagopal Nagar Main Road. It is quite easy to find us because we are directly opposite Cooper Compound. It gets loud around here with all the metal being moved, but that is just how the day goes. We have piles of steel products stacked up, and sometimes it takes a bit of work to find exactly what someone needs in the back. The shop isn't fancy or anything. There are benches for people to sit while we get things sorted. My family has been around this area for a long time, so we know most of the people who walk past our door. Dealing with steel is heavy work. Your hands get dirty and the floor is usually covered in dust from the street. We keep the doors open most of the day unless the rain starts coming down hard. Customers come in looking for specific sizes of pipes or sheets, and we do what we can to help them out. Sometimes we have a tea break and just watch the traffic on the main road. It is a simple place where we do our job. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big office. Just the steel and the tools we use every day. It’s been this way for a while now and we just keep going. People know where we are if they need something made of steel. We try to keep our piles of scrap tucked in the corner. It's just us and the metal.
