Sanjeev Steel Drums

Sanjeev Steel Drums is located at 2/53, Shri Nityanand Soc. No. 1, along Swami Nityanand Marg in Andheri East. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the traffic coming through this part of the city. We’ve been operating from here for a good while, and the place has become quite familiar to everyone around. Managing steel drums is a loud and heavy business, so the workshop is never exactly peaceful. You’ll usually see drums stacked up or being moved around. It’s not a very pretty sight, but it’s practical. The society area is a mix of people living and working, so we try to be mindful of our neighbors, though the clanging is hard to hide. We don’t have a fancy office or a big team of salespeople. It is mostly just us handling the drums and making sure they are ready for whatever they are needed for. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, but we manage. We aren’t interested in sounding corporate or using big words to describe what we do. It’s just about getting the drums handled and keeping the business going. We’ve been on Swami Nityanand Marg long enough to see the neighborhood change, but our routine stays pretty much the same every day. We just get through the pile and start again tomorrow.
