Sanjay Steel Centre

Our shop is Sanjay Steel Centre and we’ve been over here at Plot No. 21/33 in the Kammu Yakub Building for a good bit of time. You can find us at Shop No 2 right on 3rd Khetwadi Back Road. It is a busy area, honestly. Most days we are just moving steel around and trying to keep everything organized, though it gets a bit cramped in here sometimes. The back road is always full of vehicles and people shouting, which is just how things go in this part of town. We handle a lot of different steel items. It is not a very shiny or modern place, but it works for what we need to do. A lot of folks from the neighborhood come by when they need something specific for their work. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure the piles are right. It’s heavy work and the dust gets everywhere, but we are used to it by now. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the shop feel a bit slow, but we keep at it anyway. There is always someone wanting a price or looking to see if we have a certain size in the back. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and do our jobs until it is time to close. It is a simple way to run a business and it keeps us occupied every day.
