Our office is over in Dadar East, specifically in Room No 23 of Building No 108, which is called Rambhuvan. It’s on Dadasaheb Phalke Road, a busy and well-known street. We’ve been based here for a long time, and the building has that old Mumbai feel to it. Inside, it’s a mix of architecture drawings, interior samples, and a lot of books. We don't have a lot of space, but we make it work. Most of our day involves drawing up plans or talking to contractors on site. We are a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything. It’s not the kind of place with a receptionist or a lobby; you just walk in and we’re usually right there working. We focus on being practical. If a wall doesn't need to be there, we say so. We’ve worked on a lot of apartments and small offices in this part of town. Dadar is so central that it makes it easy for us to get to different sites, even if the traffic is a nightmare. We like the grit and the history of this neighborhood. We don't try to sound like a big international firm because we aren't one. We are just local architects and designers who know how to work with the space we’re given. It’s about making a room feel comfortable and making sure the plumbing actually works. We just keep it simple and focus on the job at hand. It’s honest work and we enjoy seeing the buildings come together.
