Our place is on Khetwadi Back Road, which is right in the heart of Mumbai’s famous metal market. It’s a very old and crowded part of the city. The address is 144/04. If you’ve ever been to Khetwadi, you know how tight the lanes are. There are metal shops and small workshops everywhere you look. We deal with tubes and various metal products from this small shop. It’s been here for a long time. It’s dusty, noisy, and always busy with handcarts and trucks trying to get through the narrow gaps. We don’t have a big corporate office. It’s just a front where we take orders and a back area for some of our stock. The walls are lined with metal samples and old ledgers. We know all the other shopkeepers on the road. It’s the kind of place where business is done with a handshake and a lot of shouting to be heard over the traffic. We work long hours because the market never seems to slow down. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we do. We’ve stayed in Khetwadi because this is where the metal trade happens in Mumbai. It’s authentic and a bit messy, but it’s home to us. We spend a lot of time sorting through inventory and making sure the sizes are exactly what the customers need. It’s heavy work, moving those pipes around in such a small, cramped space.
