Sandeep Steel Corporation

We are located out by the Navayard, right near the old NH No. 8. It’s a bit of a dusty area with all the trucks moving around. The shop is at number 5, near the Masjid. Handling steel is heavy work, so our days are mostly spent moving stuff around and loading up vehicles. It’s not the cleanest job, you get some grease on your hands for sure. We’ve been at this spot for a few years now. The warehouse gets hot in the summer, but we manage. My brothers and I usually run the show. We deal with whatever steel comes in and goes out. It’s straightforward work. No big meetings or fancy talk, just measuring and cutting and making sure the counts are right. Sometimes the traffic on the highway makes deliveries slow, which is annoying. We try to stay organized, but with so much metal lying around, it's a bit of a challenge. The neighbors are mostly other industrial shops. We all know each other. If someone needs a tool, they just ask. It’s a busy part of the city, especially with the trucks coming from the highway. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It pays the bills and keeps us busy. You can hear the noise of the yard all day long. It’s not quiet, but we like it that way because it means there is work to do for everyone. Steel is a hard business, but we know it well.
