Our office is located at A/9 on the first floor of Vaisa House, which is a building right above the Apoorva Hotel in the Fort area. Being in Fort means we are surrounded by a lot of history and very old buildings, which I really like. The street outside is always buzzing with people heading to work or grabbing a meal at the hotel downstairs. We have been here for quite a while, helping people with their financial questions and looking over various documents that they bring in. The office itself is a bit worn in, with wooden desks and stacks of papers that seem to grow every week. It is not the kind of place with shiny glass walls; it is more of a practical space where real work gets done. You have to walk up the stairs since we are on the first floor, and you can often smell the food from the hotel below during lunchtime. We don't spend much money on fancy furniture or decorations because we would rather just focus on the numbers and the consulting we do for our clients. It is a busy environment, but we have our own way of keeping things moving. Many of the people we see have been coming to us for years, so it feels more like a community than just a series of business transactions.
