Sameer Steel Traders

Sameer Steel Traders is located on Agra Road in Kurla-West. We are tucked away right behind the State Bank of India. It’s a handy spot because everyone knows where the bank is. Being in Kurla, it’s always crowded and the noise from the street never really stops. We spend our time moving steel around and talking to the drivers who come in to pick up loads. It is a lot of heavy lifting and the sun can be quite brutal in the afternoons. Our office is small and mostly filled with ledgers and old bits of paper. We don't have any fancy signs or slogans. We just sell steel. If you walk behind the bank, you’ll see the yard with all the beams and rods piled up. Some days are slower than others, but there is always something to clean or move. We’ve been at this for a long time, so we know the Agra Road regulars pretty well. It is a messy business sometimes with all the rust and grease, but we don't mind it. People come to us because we are right here in the neighborhood and we’ve been reliable over the years. We just try to get through the orders without too much fuss. That is how we have always done things here in Kurla-West, and we don't see that changing anytime soon for the shop.
