Salil Auto Work

Our workshop is Office No 101, located on the 1st Cross Road in Goregaon West. We are right on the corner of the 8th Cross and 1st Main, directly opposite Sahara Studio. If you walk past, you’ll probably hear the sound of wrenches clanking or an engine being tested. It’s a real working garage, so there’s always some grease on the walls and oil stains on the ground. We have been working on cars and bikes here for quite a few years now. The space isn't very large, so we have to park the vehicles carefully to make room for everyone to move around. We don't have a fancy lounge for customers to wait in; mostly they just stand around and chat with us while we work or they go get a tea nearby. It’s hard, dirty work, especially when we have to crawl under a chassis on a humid day. But we know our way around a motor, and that’s what matters to the people who bring their vehicles to us. We see all kinds of cars, some old and some newer ones that need a bit of a tune-up. We just focus on getting the repairs done so people can get back on the road. Goregaon is a busy place and there’s never a shortage of work to do. We just keep our heads down and keep the tools moving until the job is finished. It is just us and our tools in the shop every day.
