Sainath Cool Cab Services

Our base is at 8 Mulund West on Elphinstone Road, specifically Plot No 29. Sainath Cool Cab Services is a straightforward place where we manage a small fleet of cars for the neighborhood. Mulund is a nice area but the roads can get really jammed up during the rush hours in the morning. I spend a lot of my time sitting at a wooden desk with a couple of phones that never seem to stop ringing. The office is small, just enough room for a few chairs and some files. We don’t have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It’s mostly just us keeping track of who is where and making sure the cars are fueled up and ready. The drivers are local guys who live nearby, so they know all the shortcuts through the side streets to avoid the main road traffic. We keep some old maps on the wall even though everyone uses phones for directions now. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building. We usually have a fan going and someone brings in tea for everyone. People in Plot No 29 and the surrounding buildings know us well. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Mumbai, we just want to stay busy and keep the cars on the road. It’s honest work and it keeps us connected to the community. If you see our cars parked out front, you know we're open.
