We are located on Nanubhai Desai Road, right near the 60 Feet Road intersection. It’s a busy area with a lot of heavy lifting and metal moving around. Our place at 56/64 is where we keep the stock and handle orders. Steel is heavy, so the shop floor is always a bit noisy and there’s usually some dust. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. People know us for being around when they need specific sizes or types of steel for their construction or repair jobs. It’s not a shiny showroom. We have stacks of bars and sheets, and the air smells like iron. My clothes usually have a bit of rust or grease on them by the end of the shift. We spend a lot of time measuring and cutting things to the right length. It’s honest work. The guys here have been working with these materials for years, so they know how to handle the machinery. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth usually brings people in. If someone needs a piece of steel, they just walk in and ask. We check the inventory and see what we can do. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road for a bit while we load up, which the neighbors are patient about. It’s a practical business. We focus on the metal and making sure the counts are right. It’s what we know how to do best. I guess it isn't glamorous, but it keeps us busy.
