You can find Sai Steel Works down in Chickpet, specifically on S V Lane near M G Road. We are at H-1. If you know anything about Chickpet, you know that the lanes are very narrow and always packed with people and carts. It is a very lively and loud place to have a business. We work with steel mostly. It is heavy, physical work that definitely keeps you in shape. We have been in this specific spot for quite a while now. The shop is small, so we have to be very careful about where we put things. If we don’t put a tool back exactly where it belongs, it gets lost under a pile of steel very quickly. We don't do anything in the way of promotion or advertising. People usually find us because they were walking through the lane or a friend told them we could help them out. We don't have a showroom or any fancy displays. You just see the raw steel and the machines we use to cut and shape it. We try to be fair with everyone who comes in. If we cannot do a specific job, we will tell you straight instead of taking the work and then struggling with it later. It is a busy life here in the middle of the city. We start when the market opens and we don't usually leave until the last order is ready.
