You can find Sai Services on Nehru Road in Vile Parle East. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always the sound of horns and engines outside our door. We’ve been at this spot for quite a bit of time now. The workspace is a bit cramped because we have tools and parts lying all over the benches. We don't really care about keeping things spotless if work is actually happening. There is usually grease on someone’s hands and a few half-empty cups of tea sitting around. People drop things off and we tell them we will get to it when we can. Sometimes we are fast, sometimes things take a few days if we are waiting on something to arrive. We don't have a fancy waiting room. Most people just stand near the counter and chat while we look at their stuff. The door sticks a bit when it gets humid, so you have to give it a good push. We’ve got a small fan that tries its best, but it mostly just moves the warm air around. It is just a local shop where we handle whatever comes our way. Most of the folks who come in live just a few streets over. We know the neighborhood well and we just keep doing what we do every day. It’s not a big corporate thing, just us on Nehru Road.
