Sai Ram Travels

We are located in Chembur, over in Sector 48 A. Our shop is right opposite the Navjeevan Society. It is a small place where we handle travel bookings and tours for people in the area. The walls are covered with posters of different places, though many of them are a bit faded now from the sun coming through the window. We have been here for years, helping people book their bus tickets or arrange cars for trips out of the city. It is a busy little street and there is always someone popping in to ask about ticket prices or train timings. We don't have a fancy website with automated bookings; we prefer talking to people and figuring out the best route for them. Sometimes the phones are ringing non-stop and it gets a bit hectic, especially during the holiday season. Other times, it is quiet and we just sit and chat with the regulars who come by for a cup of tea. Traveling can be stressful for people, so we just try to make the booking part as simple as possible. We know the local drivers and the bus operators, so we can usually get things sorted out pretty quickly without much trouble. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a few chairs and a counter, but it is where we have spent most of our working lives. We just keep the doors open and help whoever walks in. It is a straightforward way to earn a living.
