Sai Auto Engine Works is down on the ground floor at Shop No 14. We’re in the Shb En building in Borivali East. It’s a handy spot because you don’t have to lug heavy engine parts up any stairs. The floor is usually stained with oil, but that's just part of the job. We spend our days under hoods or leaning over workbenches. It gets a bit cramped when we have a few big projects going at once. We’ve been at this location for a while. Borivali East is a busy area, so there’s always cars and bikes moving around. We hear the traffic all day. The shop door is almost always open to let the air in. We aren't big on decorations; we just have our tools and a few calendars on the wall. If you’re looking for us, just look for the shop number 14. We know most of the regular drivers who pass by. It’s a honest living, fixing things that break down. Sometimes we're here late finishing up a job that turned out more complicated than we thought. Our hands are rarely clean by the end of the shift. We just get on with the work. Shb En is a decent building to work out of. It’s got a bit of wear and tear, but so do we. We don't mind the noise or the heat too much. It's just home for us now.
