Sahidul Casting

Sahidul Casting is located at 17/19, specifically in Room No 33 of C P Chawl. We are in Dha Kalbadevi Sahar. It is an old part of the city and this chawl has a lot of history behind it. We do casting work here. It is hot and messy work but we have been doing it for many years now. The space we have is small and we have to be very careful with how we use every inch of it. Kalbadevi is a very busy market area, so there is always a lot of noise coming from the streets below. We don't have a polished showroom for customers. What you see when you walk in is exactly what you get. We work with our hands and some simple tools to make things. It’s not the kind of job you do if you want to stay clean all day. We have a few regular customers who always come to us for their casting needs. We don't really have a boss in a suit, it’s just us working together in the room to get things done. Life in the chawl is very community-based, so everyone knows Sahidul Casting is in Room 33. We don't spend any money on flyers or advertisements. We just focus on the metal and the molds. It’s a simple life and we are mostly happy with it. We just keep our heads down and do the work day after day.
