Sachiyama Metal

Sachiyama Metal is located at Charni Road. We are in Shop No 2, Building No 37/39. It’s an old part of the city, and the buildings have a lot of character. Our shop is quite small considering we deal with metal. We have to be very careful about how we stack things so we don’t run out of room. The area around Charni Road is always full of activity. You have the station nearby and lots of other small tradesmen working in the lanes. We’ve been here for quite some time now. Most of our work involves weighing pieces and cutting things to size. It’s heavy work and your hands get dirty pretty quickly. We don't have a fancy office or air conditioning. We just have our scales and our tools. The building we are in is one of those classic Mumbai structures. It stays a bit dark inside, but we have enough light to see what we are doing. We aren't big on marketing or trying to sound corporate. We just talk to the people who walk in and try to give them what they are looking for. It’s a straightforward business. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but we manage. We’ve got a routine that works for us. If you need some metal work done or just looking for a specific piece, you can find us easily enough in building 37/39. We are usually here.
