Sachin Precision

Sachin Precision is tucked into Gala I.E. on Dumping Rd, at unit number 203. The name of the road isn't very pretty, but the work we do here is very specific. We spend our hours focused on the machines. It is all about the small details, getting the measurements just right. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the shift. We aren't a big factory with thousands of workers. It's just a small team of us who know how to handle the lathes and the grinders. It gets pretty loud when everything is running at once, so we don't talk much during the day. We just get on with it. Sometimes a job is tricky and takes longer than we thought, so we stay late to finish it. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in our overalls with grease on our hands. That is just the way it is. We take the work seriously, but we don't feel the need to boast about it. The equipment is old but we keep it in good shape because it does the job well. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other people doing the same kind of hard work. It feels right to be here. We just keep our heads down and focus on the precision.
