Sacheta Metals Limited

Sacheta Metals Limited is located in the Sakseria Industrial Estate, over in Chincholi, Malad West. Being right off S.V. Road means we’re always dealing with the heavy traffic. Some days it takes forever just to get the truck out of the main gate. The estate itself is quite old and has that classic industrial feel to it. We’ve got a fairly large setup here for metal work. It’s a lot of heat and noise, especially when the machines are running at full speed in the morning. We don't have any fancy air conditioning in the main area, just some big fans that move the air around as best they can. We’ve got stacks of metal sheets and parts piled up in different sections. It’s a bit of a maze if you don’t know your way around. Our office is a small partitioned area where we handle the billing and the phone calls. It’s usually a bit quieter in there, but not by much when the hammers are going. We’ve had the same people working the desks and the machines for a long time now. We know each other’s families and what’s going on in the neighborhood shops. Malad has changed so much with all the malls and new glass buildings, but inside Sakseria Industrial Estate, things feel like they haven't changed in twenty years. We like the consistency of it. We just focus on the metal and making sure we get through the day.
