S. R. Metal Industries

We’ve been here at S. R. Metal Industries for a while now. Our office is tucked away in the Saroj Complex on Sant Sena Maharaj Marg, right on the ground floor. If you know the 2nd Kumbharwada Lane, you know it gets pretty busy around here with all the metal shops and noise. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We mostly spend our days handling orders and checking on stock. It isn’t anything fancy, just a small office where we get things done. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard for deliveries to reach us on time, but we manage. People drop by Office No. 4-A for all sorts of metal needs, and we try to help out as much as possible. Working in the heart of Mumbai's metal market means there is always something going on. The walls in the office are a bit old, and the fans hum constantly when it’s hot, which is most of the time. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the trade. Dealing with different types of metal can be tricky, but we’ve learned what works. It’s a lot of phone calls and keeping track of paperwork. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but the way we do things stays mostly the same. We just show up, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. It’s honest work, and we like being part of the local community here.
