S P Jain Institute Of Management And Research is right here in the heart of Mumbai. Most people just call it SPJIMR. It is a busy place, as you can imagine for a school in this city. There are always students running around between classes or sitting in groups working on something. We don't really have a specific street address listed here, but everyone knows we are a big part of the Mumbai education scene. It is not just about the books, though. It is the energy of the place. You walk across the campus and you hear people discussing everything from economics to social issues. It gets pretty loud during the festivals and events. The staff here are just regular people who care about making sure things run smoothly. We deal with a lot of paperwork and scheduling, which isn't the fun part, but it has to be done. Mumbai life is fast and the institute reflects that. There is always a deadline or a lecture happening somewhere. We have been part of this city for a long time. It is interesting to see the students come in as nervous newcomers and leave a couple of years later ready for the world. We don't try to be anything we aren't.
