S M Steels

S M Steels is tucked away in M J Market at 72 Champa Gully. We are specifically located at 41/163 Masjid Shree Ambika Society. This whole area is a maze of small lanes and gullies, and Champa Gully is one of the busiest ones you will find. We deal in steel, and this has been our home for many years now. The space we have is quite cramped because we have to fit in as much stock as possible. It is a very traditional way of doing business where you know all your neighbors and you spend your day talking to other traders. There is no air conditioning or fancy office chairs here. We mostly sit on the floor or on small stools and handle the orders as they come in. The Masjid Shree Ambika Society building has been around for a long time and it shows its age, but it is solid. Working in M J Market is not for everyone because of the crowds and the heat, but we are used to it by now. We do not have a website or a marketing department. People find us because they know the steel trade and they know we have been at this spot for ages. It is just basic, honest work. We open early when the market starts to wake up and we stay until the last cart has been loaded. It is a noisy place but it is where the work gets done.
