S. M. Steel Industries

We’ve been down here at 194-C, L.P. Comp on 6th Kumbharwada Lane for a while now. It’s a busy spot, mostly crowded with people moving stuff in and out of the units. S. M. Steel Industries is basically where we spend most of our daylight hours. It isn't a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. Just a workshop where the floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of oil is always in the air. We keep busy with whatever orders come through the door. Some days it’s quiet and we’re just organizing the racks, and other days the machines don't stop till late. We try to get things out the door on time because we know people are waiting on us to finish their own projects. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the roof, but we’re used to it by now. The neighbors around here are alright, we all kind of look out for each other since it’s such a tight space. If you’re looking for us, we’re right there in the lane, easy to spot once you get past the main road traffic. We don't have a big website or a bunch of people answering phones. Usually, it's just one of us wiping our hands on a rag to pick up the call. That’s how we’ve always done things at S. M. Steel Industries. Just plain work and trying to stay on top of the pile.
