You can find us over on Bajaj Road in Borivali West at number 10. S M Batteries And Auto Electricals is basically a big garage space where we deal with cars and bikes all day long. It is a greasy and loud place to work but that is just how it goes in this business. We have batteries stacked up against the walls and different kinds of cables hanging from the ceiling. Most of the time we have someone pulling up because their car will not start or their lights are acting funny. We take a look at the battery or the alternator and see if we can get it sorted out. My hands are almost always black with oil and grime by noon. We do not have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning or anything like that. People usually just stand around and talk to us while we work on their vehicles or they go and get a tea from the stall down the street. We have been at this spot for many years and even though the rent keeps going up we stay here because this is where our customers know to find us. We are not trying to be the biggest repair shop in the city. We just want to make sure the cars leave here running properly so people can get where they need to go. It is practical work for practical people and we don't use any fancy talk.
