S. K. Interiors

The workshop is down at Cotton Green West, specifically at the D.V.B. Warehouse on BPT Plot 25. It’s Room No. 5, so you have to walk back a bit to find us. We are pretty close to the Ram Punjab Hotel, which is where we usually grab a quick tea or lunch. The building is old and has that heavy industrial feel of the port trust area. We do interior work, which sounds fancy, but mostly it involves a lot of sanding, painting, and fitting things together in the heat. It’s a dusty place because of all the materials we use. We spend our time looking at floor plans and trying to make things fit into small Mumbai apartments. We don’t have a showroom with air conditioning. Our work happens right here in the warehouse or out at the customer's site. It’s noisy and sometimes the lighting isn't great, but we’ve got all the tools we need. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the trucks coming in and out of the plot. It’s a practical way to work. We don't promise anything we can't do. If a job is too big for our small crew, we say so. Mostly, we just keep busy with the orders we have and try to get them done on time. S. K. Interiors is just a few guys working hard in a warehouse.
