S A Transformers

S A Transformers is located over in Bhandup West at 212/213. It is a large, industrial-feeling space where we spend most of our hours dealing with heavy coils and metal casings. The air here is always a bit heavy with the smell of transformer oil and the sound of metal clanking. We spend a lot of time winding copper wire, which is repetitive but you have to get it right. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what we know. The workshop is usually a bit of a mess with scraps of wire and insulation material on the floor, but we know where everything is. We don't really have a front desk; usually, someone just shouts from the back when a customer walks in. Most of the people who come here are looking for repairs or specific builds for their power needs. Bhandup is a busy area, and the street outside is always full of people and carts. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and the walls are covered in marks from moving heavy equipment around over the years. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon slump. There is no air conditioning, just the big industrial fans that make a lot of noise. We just show up every morning, get the tools out, and start working on the units that are lined up for the day.
