We’re on the ground floor of Roy Apartments in Sahar. It’s right across from the International Cargo Complex in Andheri East. Being on the ground floor is handy because we don’t have to deal with elevators. At Ryal Logistics Pvt. Ltd., we spend most of our time dealing with the usual daily tasks. The office gets a bit of dust from the road since we’re so close to the cargo traffic. We have a couple of rooms that serve as our main workspace. The walls are a plain off-white and we have some old metal cabinets for our files. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have a small window that looks out toward the street, so we can see the trucks passing by all day. Sometimes the noise makes it hard to hear on the phone. We just talk louder. There’s a small kitchen area in the back where we make coffee. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighborhood feels familiar. The neighbors in the apartment building above sometimes drop by to say hello. It feels more like a community spot than a big office. We don’t have any big corporate signs, just a small one by the door. We show up, do the work, and keep the files in order. It’s a simple way to run things, and it works for us. The floor is concrete and the lights flicker sometimes, but we get by.
