Karishma Ahuja

I work out of Gayatri Niwas, which is located on 20th Road in the Dand area of Khar West. Karishma Ahuja is the name on the door. Khar West has a very specific vibe to it, especially around the Victoria Layout. It’s a mix of old residential buildings and small businesses like mine. Gayatri Niwas is a familiar spot for those who live around here. My workspace isn't some corporate office in a glass tower. It’s a more personal setting where I can focus on my tasks. The 20th Road is usually busy with people going about their shopping or heading to the station. I spend most of my day at my desk, handling whatever projects are currently on my plate. I don't have a team of assistants or a big reception area. It is mostly just me managing the day-to-day things. The office is simple, with enough room for my books and my computer. Mumbai life is fast, so I try to keep my work organized and straightforward. There isn't any fancy marketing speak here. I just provide my services to the people who reach out to me. Sometimes the sounds of the street come through the window, but you get used to that in Mumbai. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood. If you are walking down 20th Road, you’ll see the building. It’s an honest, small-scale way to work, and I prefer it that way. No big mission statements, just a local professional doing her job.
