Rushabh Impex

Our place, Rushabh Impex, is in Gala 101 of the B Wing. We are over in Lower Parel, which used to be all mills but now it's a mix of everything. If you go behind the Kamgar Krida Kendra, you’ll find our building. It's on the first floor, so it's not too many stairs to climb when we are carrying samples or boxes. The area has a lot of energy because of the sports center nearby. You can often hear people playing or practicing while we are trying to work. The gala itself is a bit industrial, nothing fancy. We have our storage area and a small section where we sit and do the paperwork. Dealing with imports and exports means we are always waiting for news from the port or checking on shipments. It can be a bit stressful when things are delayed, but that’s just how it goes. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us making sure everything is moving correctly. We eat lunch at the small stalls nearby because the food is good and cheap. We don't have a fancy lunchroom. The work is steady and we’ve been here long enough that the security guards know us by name. It’s a practical way to run a business. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
