Ruma Enterprises

Ruma Enterprises is located down in Masjid Bunder West, on Srpf Road. We are in Shop No 56, Block No D, in the Karim area. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded and hectic it gets. Every morning is a struggle just to get through the narrow lanes with all the carts and people moving around. Our shop is part of a larger block, and it’s packed with stock from floor to ceiling. We handle a lot of items, so there is always lifting and boxes being moved around. It is a very loud and sweaty environment, but that is the nature of Masjid Bunder. We don’t have much in the way of decor; it’s just racks and boxes and a small desk where I keep the accounts. The air is always thick with the smell of the market and exhaust fumes. I’ve been working in this block for years, and I know most of the other shopkeepers around here. We help each other out when someone needs a hand with a heavy delivery. It’s a tough place to work if you aren't used to the chaos, but we’ve grown to like the energy of it. We don't use any fancy systems, just a lot of hard work and staying late to make sure everything is sorted for the next day. It’s just how things are done in this part of town and we don't expect it to change.
