Roxy Cool Cab

Our office is located on Mama Parmanand Road, right near the old Roxy Cinema in Charni Road. It’s a place that most locals know well because of the theater. We spend our days managing the cabs and talking to drivers who are coming and going. The road outside is always packed with traffic, especially when a show is letting out or during the rush hour. It’s not a very big office, just enough space for a couple of desks and some chairs where the drivers can sit and have a tea while they wait for their next trip. We’ve been around this area for a while, so we know the traffic patterns and the best ways to get across town. Managing cars in a city like this is never easy, there’s always something breaking down or a road closure we didn't expect. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just handle everything through phone calls and people walking in. The walls have a few old calendars and some notes scribbled on them. It feels like a real local spot, not like those big corporate transport companies. We just focus on getting people where they need to go and making sure the cars are running as well as they can. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from early morning until late at night.
