Rolex Tin And Metal Works is located at 21, Yakoob Street in Adam Manzil Nagar. We are right near the J J Hospital Signal, which is a landmark most people in the city recognize. Our workshop is a bit loud because of all the metalwork going on. We make all sorts of things out of tin and other metals. It’s a lot of cutting, bending, and soldering. The shop has been here for a long time, and the walls are a bit stained with soot and oil. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find us with our sleeves rolled up, working on a custom order. We don't do big advertisements. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood or businesses that need specific metal parts made. It’s a grit-under-your-fingernails kind of job. We take the measurements, cut the sheets, and put it all together. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with scraps, but we know where everything is. We don't have a philosophy or a vision. We just want to make sure the containers or parts we build are strong enough to do the job. It’s a small family-run type of place. We’ve been through many summers in this heat, working the metal by hand. It’s just what we do to pay the bills and keep the shop open for another day. It is plain work for plain needs.
