You can find us at shop number 19 in the New Oberoi Shopping Center at Nariman Point. Being in a place like this means we see a lot of different people every day. It’s a small shop, but we’ve packed it with as much as we can. The air conditioning is always running because it gets quite stuffy in the mall otherwise. We’ve been here for years, and we have some customers who have been coming to us since the very beginning. We don't spend money on big ads or fancy marketing. We just sit in the shop, talk to whoever walks in, and help them find what they need. The space is a bit tight, especially when we get a new delivery and have to find room for all the boxes. We usually spend the mornings dusting the shelves and rearranging the display. Nariman Point is a busy business district, so lunchtimes are usually our busiest hour when people from the nearby offices come by for a look. It’s a nice community within the shopping center; we know all the other shop owners around us. We aren't a big chain store, so it’s just us running the show every day. It feels more personal that way, even if we don't have the fancy trimmings of a modern retail outlet. It’s a long day from morning to night but we enjoy being here.
