Our shop is at 52 Kika Street. Gulalwadi is always packed with people and carts, so getting here can be a bit of a scramble most days. Rocky Steels is tucked away among a lot of other similar businesses. It’s a small storefront, and most of the space is taken up by the stock we keep. We have to move things around just to find a place to sit sometimes. It’s an old building, so the ceilings are high but the light isn't great. We’ve got a small desk near the front where we handle the bills and talk to whoever walks in. It’s a busy street, and the noise from the market outside never really stops. We’ve gotten used to it over the years. We handle steel orders for the local builders and whoever else needs a bit of metal for their projects. It’s messy work, and your hands are always grey by the end of the shift. We don't have a website or anything like that; people usually just find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. It’s an honest way to make a living. We open up early and close when the market finally slows down. There isn't much more to it than that. Just us, the metal, and the daily grind on Kika Street. It’s how it goes. We've thought about moving to a bigger place once or twice, but we like it here in Gulalwadi too much to leave. It feels like home even if it is a bit crowded with metal pieces everywhere.
