Rich Cot

Rich Cot is based on the first floor of Century Bhavan, which is located on Dr. Annie Besant Road. This is a pretty well-known part of the city, and the building itself has been around for a long time. Being on the first floor is convenient because we don’t have to wait for the lifts most of the time. The office is where we handle everything related to our cotton business. It’s usually filled with the smell of old paper and sometimes samples of fabric or fibers depending on what we are working on at the moment. Dr. Annie Besant Road is always moving, and you can see the cars and buses going by from our windows. We’ve got a small team here, and most of us have been working together for years. It’s a very traditional sort of office. We have big wooden desks and a lot of ledgers. While the world outside is getting more digital, we still find that a lot of our work involves direct conversations and physical paperwork. We don’t do much in the way of marketing ourselves. We just stay here in Century Bhavan and let our work speak for itself. It can get a bit humid in the office during the monsoon, but we just open the windows or turn on the AC and keep going. It’s a steady kind of life, and we like the history of the area we are in.
