Rexal Tubes is tucked away at 15/3, Gogari Mansion on 1st Carpenter Street. Being in the Opera House area, it’s always crowded and energetic around here. Our space is on the smaller side, but we manage to keep all the tube samples and documents organized enough. It’s an old building, so the stairs are a bit narrow and the ceilings are high. We spend most of the morning answering emails and talking to customers on the phone. It’s not a polished corporate office with glass walls. We have wooden desks that have been here since we started. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to close the windows, even when it’s hot. Most of us eat lunch together at our desks. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just care about making sure the tubes get to where they need to go on time. The neighborhood has a lot of history, and we feel like we’re a small part of it. It’s a busy life, but we like the pace. Dealing with different types of metal tubes keeps us on our toes. There’s always some new problem to solve or a delivery that’s running late. We just take it as it comes and try to stay as helpful as we can for the people who call us. Hopefully, the weather stays decent this week.
