We are located in the Roseland Housing Cooperative on Waterfield Road. It’s a pretty busy part of the neighborhood with a lot of shops and cafes nearby. Our space is tucked away inside the building, so it’s a bit quieter than the street outside. We started Resurrection because we wanted to do something local and useful. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who share the work. Most of our day is spent handling requests and talking to people who walk in. The building itself is older, so it has some character, but sometimes the plumbing is a bit temperamental. We’ve got a couple of desks and a lot of boxes stacked up against the wall. People in the cooperative know us well since we’ve been here for a while now. We try to keep things simple and not overcomplicate our daily routine. Waterfield Road always has something going on, so there’s never a dull moment when we step out for a coffee. We handle various tasks that come our way, mostly small-scale stuff that helps the local community. It’s not a fancy corporate setup by any means. We have some plants by the window that we try to keep alive, though the afternoon sun is quite strong. It’s just a regular place where we get our work done and go home at the end of the day.
