Relaytronics

Relaytronics is located at Number 1, Tambawala Mansion. We are down on Chunam Lane, which is just off Lamington Road. If you’ve ever been to Lamington Road, you know it’s the heart of everything electronic, but it can be a real maze. Chunam Lane is a bit tucked away from the main chaos, but it’s still plenty busy. Our space in the mansion isn't very big, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. We have shelves filled with different components and relays. Most days involve a lot of testing and sorting through small parts. It’s quiet work in some ways, but there is always the sound of the street outside. We don’t have a fancy storefront with neon lights. It’s just an old building where we get our work done every day. Sometimes people stop by looking for a specific part they can't find on the main road. We spend a lot of time looking at diagrams or checking connections. It’s the kind of job where you have to be patient because things are small and fiddly. We’ve been in this neighborhood long enough to know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a tight-knit community of people selling parts and fixing things. We just do our part in the middle of all that electronic stuff. It’s a simple setup and it suits us just fine. Everyone knows everyone else around these busy lanes.
