My work happens over in Bandra East at Kher Nagar. I am on the first floor of building number 12, which is a nice spot because I don't have to climb too many stairs but I am still away from the direct noise of the street. Bandra East has a different feel than the West side; it is a bit more grounded and moves at its own pace. My office is a basic room where I handle my daily business. There is nothing fancy about the setup, just a desk, some chairs, and plenty of files that seem to grow every week. I have been in Kher Nagar for a while now, and I like the familiarity of the area. Usually, my day starts early before the humidity gets too bad, and I just work through whatever is on the schedule. Sometimes the building gets a bit noisy with the neighbors or the plumbing, but that is just life in an older Bandra block. I don't use any big marketing tricks or try to look like a huge company. It is just me, Rekha, doing my work and staying on top of my responsibilities from this first-floor space. People find me through word of mouth mostly, or because they live in the nearby buildings. It is a quiet, steady way of doing things, and I prefer it that way over being in a busy high-rise office block with glass windows.
