Rekha Bright Steels Enterprises is tucked away on Katrak Road, right in Ps Lane. It’s one of those spots that you might miss if you aren’t looking for it. The lane is narrow and there is usually some kind of activity happening with the neighbors. We deal with steel, so things can get a bit noisy and dusty around here. It’s not the kind of place where you wear your best clothes to work. Most of us have grease or dust on our shirts by noon. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time and we know the rhythms of the street. When the rain comes down hard, the lane gets a bit messy, but we just keep the shutters half-down and keep working. We don't have a big front office with a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us near the back. The lighting isn't the best, but we know where everything is kept. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. As long as the orders are moving and the steel is where it needs to be, we are happy. People around here know us as just another local business trying to make a living. It’s a tough trade, but it’s what we know. Just a small shop in a quiet lane.
