Reggency Architects

Reggency Architects is based out of the Olympus building, specifically Office No. 53 on Perin Nariman Street. We are very close to the Reserve Bank, so the area is always heavily guarded and busy with people. It is an old part of Mumbai with a lot of character and narrow streets. Our office isn't very big, but it fits our small team just fine. We have our drawing boards and computers squeezed into the space we have. Most of the time, we are out at sites anyway. Architecture in a city like this is a real challenge because space is so tight. You have to be clever about every single inch of a room. We spend a lot of time arguing with contractors over things that seem small but matter later on. It is not a glamorous job. There is a lot of dust, heat, and dealing with government permits. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to do our social media. People find us by word of mouth mostly. We might be working on a small kitchen renovation or something slightly bigger, but the approach is always the same. We just want the building to stand up and the rooms to be useful. Sometimes things go wrong, a shipment of tiles breaks or a wall isn't exactly where it should be. We just deal with it and move on. That is how it works here. We have been at Plot No-179 for a while now.
