Sonis Impex

We’re located over at the Bombay Timber Market Occupants Society on Signal Hill Avenue. Our space is Gala No. 3a/4a. If you’ve ever been to Reay Road, you know it’s a heavy industrial area with lots of trucks and wood everywhere. Sonis Impex fits right in there. We don’t have a sleek office; it’s more of a warehouse and workspace combined. It’s usually pretty loud with the traffic and the work going on in the neighboring galas. We deal with imports and exports, mostly involving raw materials. It’s a tough business sometimes, especially with the prices always changing. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in and making sure it’s packed right before it goes out again. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the people on the street. We don't have a website that we update or any marketing team. It's just a few of us doing the heavy lifting and the paperwork. Some days are slow, and other days we can barely keep up with the trucks coming in. We don't mind the hard work, though. It’s what we know. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep our customers happy so they come back next time. It’s a simple way to run a business. There’s no point in making it more complicated than that. We just show up and do the job.
