Ravindra Steel

Ravindra Steel is located at Shop No. 3 in the Coover Building. We are on 1st Parsiwada Lane, just off N.D. Road. It’s a small shop, but we make the most of the space we have. The building is quite old and has that specific smell of aged stone and metal. We keep our steel stock in racks that go all the way up to the ceiling. You really have to know your way around to find what you’re looking for. The lane outside is narrow, so it’s always a bit of a struggle when we have to unload a new shipment. We have to be quick about it so we don't block the way for everyone else. Inside, there’s an old desk with a lamp that flickers if you tap it too hard. We spend our time talking to people who come in for specific cuts of steel. It’s a very local vibe here. We know the guy who runs the shop next door and the person who delivers the mail. There isn't any fancy marketing going on here. We don't have a website or a social media page. If people need steel, they usually just know to come to this lane and look for Shop No. 3. It’s been our daily routine for years, and we don't see any reason to change it. It’s just work, plain and simple.
