You can find us at the Akruti Trade Centre on Road No. 7 in Andheri East. It is a very busy building in a crowded part of Mumbai. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or looking at site plans spread out on the big table in the middle of the room. Being in infrastructure means there is always a lot of coordination to do between the guys working on the ground and the people sitting in the office here at B/403. The traffic outside on the main road is always a bit much, but that is just Andheri for you. We have been operating from this same spot for quite some time now. Our desks are usually covered in files, permits, and blueprints that have seen better days. It is not a fancy setup, but it works for what we need to get done every day. We deal with various project details, making sure things move along as they should without too many hiccups. Sometimes things get delayed because of the weather or materials not arriving on time, and we have to scramble to fix the schedule. It is a lot of back and forth between different departments. We have a small kitchen area where we grab coffee and talk about the current jobs we are handling. We are not really into making big speeches or presentations; we just want the projects to reach the finish line. Every day brings a different set of problems to solve.
