Ranakpur Steel

You can find us at 17, Sudama Bhavan, which is on the 1St Panjrapole Lane in the C P Tank area. If you know the neighborhood, you know it’s full of narrow streets and a lot of old buildings. Ranakpur Steel is tucked away in one of those lanes. It’s a very busy part of the city, and getting a truck in or out of here is always a bit of a struggle. Our space is mostly filled with steel rods and sheets stacked up against the walls. It’s an old building, so the ceilings are high and the walls have that weathered look. We don’t have any fancy signs or a modern showroom. It’s mostly just us and the steel. People come by all day long, and the noise from the street never really stops. We spend a lot of time checking the weights and making sure the orders are right. Most of the staff has been here for a long time, so we’re like a small family. We drink our tea while standing near the entrance, watching the crowds go by. It’s a humble place, honestly, but we like the energy of C P Tank. There is always something happening outside the door. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out, moving the steel and talking to the regulars who have been buying from us for years. It’s a bit of a trek for some people to get here, but once they find the lane, they usually come back.
