Rampra Steel Industries Pvt. Ltd. is situated at A-11 in the Shriram Industrial Estate. We are quite close to the Wadala Telephone Exchange, which is the easiest way to explain where we are to anyone who is lost. The industrial estate is a maze of different businesses, and A-11 is our corner of it. We deal with steel, and that means there is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. The floor of the unit is made of thick concrete to handle the weight of the steel sheets and bars we keep in stock. It’s a busy place with a lot of shouting to be heard over the noise of the cranes or the trucks outside. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person telling us how to talk. We just know our steel and we know the estate. Most of the people working here have been around for years, so we don't need many meetings to figure out what to do next. The walls are a bit stained from the grease and the metal dust, which is normal for a place like this. We have a small area where we keep the records and a computer that gets used mostly for billing. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quickly before we get back to the stacks of metal. It’s an honest, hard-working environment at Shriram Industrial Estate. We just focus on the steel and getting it moved out to where it needs to go.
