Our place is a bit tucked away in Iraniwadi. If you’re looking for it, just head behind Pushpam Jewelers on H. K. Road Number 4. We’re in Chandra Niwas, house number four. Ramesh has been here for years, and he knows everyone on the street. Kandivali West is a crowded part of Mumbai, and this lane is no different. It’s got that old-school feel where everyone knows what’s going on. The office isn’t much to look at from the outside, just an old building with a lot of character. Inside, we’ve got our desks and a couple of old cupboards for all the paperwork. It gets a bit dusty with the road being so close, so we’re always cleaning off the tables. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you just walk in and talk to whoever is free. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at the screen. Sometimes the tea guy forgets our order, and we have to go find him. It’s just how it is. We aren't doing anything fancy, just the regular work that needs doing. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside, but we make it work. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them where we are. It is a humble setup but we get the job done every single day.
