You can find us over in the Bombay Talkies Compound in Malad West, specifically at 193/F. We are quite close to the railway station, which makes it easy for us to get around. The compound has a lot of history, and it feels like a different world once you step inside. We deal with all kinds of metal here. There are piles of copper, brass, and aluminum stacked up in different corners. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We spend a lot of time weighing things and sorting through what’s useful and what’s not. It’s a hands-on job and you can’t be afraid to get your clothes a bit dirty. The sun beats down on the yard in the afternoon, making the metal hot to the touch, but we just keep at it. People come by with all sorts of stuff they want to sell or get rid of. We don't have a big fancy office; our work happens out in the open or under a simple roof. It’s a busy life, especially with the trains rattling by so close. We just keep our heads down and focus on the scales. It’s a practical business built on knowing your materials and giving people a fair shake. There is always someone coming in with a truckload of scrap or just a few small pieces to weigh.
